DESCRIPTION:October 6-8\, 2017\nThe Westin Birmingham/BJCC Forum Building\, 3rd Floor\nBirmingham\, AL\nOnsite Registration Available! \nTo view/download the complete program brochure\, click here. \nYou are invited to attend the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging\, Rediscovering the Magic of Nuclear Medicine in the Magic City to be held October 6-8\, 2017 at The Westin Birmingham in Birmingham\, Alabama. The meeting will be filled with valuable and timely education for the Nuclear Medicine community. Lectures qualify for CEU and CME\, and we are planning several SAM sessions. The target audience includes physicians\, physicists\, technologists\, and radiopharmacists. \nProgram Chairs\, Chirayu Shah\, MD from the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System and Vanderbilt University Medical Center\, Dori L. Browning\, BS\, CNMT\, NCT from Kentucky Cardiology and Norman E. Bolus\, MSPH\,CNMT\,FSNMMI-TS\, University of Alabama at Birmingham and President-Elect of the SNMMI-TS\, have organized an excellent and diverse program with many interesting and timely topics. The focus of this meeting will be on what the future holds for Nuclear Medicine Professionals.  In addition\, again this year we are planning to present abstracts by residents\, basic science trainees\, technologists\, and technologist students\, which will encourage thought\, creativity and scholarly activity.  Click here for full program information. \nThe SECSNMMI Annual Meeting is returning to Birmingham\, Alabama.  Nestled at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains at the cross-section of two major railroads\, the city was once the primary industrial center of the southern United States.
